Android - Setup Passkey

The below steps are to register a passkey on an Android device in the Microsoft Authenticator App.

Note: Your Android device must be running Android version 14 or newer. If it isn’t, please contact [e-mail]

1. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your device.
2. Tap on your Office 365 Account and then tap Create a passkey
   
3. Sign in and follow the prompts to complete MFA.
   
4. If necessary, tap Settings and set up a screen lock.
   
5. Tap Settings to enable Authenticator as a passkey provider.
   
6. Open Passwords & accounts.
   
7. In the Additional providers section, make sure that Authenticator is selected.
   
8. After you return to Authenticator, tap Done to confirm that you added Authenticator as a passkey provider. Then you can see Passkey added as a sign-in method for your account. Tap Done again to finish.
