Android - Setup Work Profile

An Android Work Profile can be set up on an Android device to separate work apps and data from personal apps and data. With a Work Profile you can securely and privately use the same device for work and personal purposes - your organization manages your work apps and data while your personal apps, data, and usage remain private.

To enrol your device, please follow the steps below.

1. 1. 1. Open Play Store App
         
      2. Search for the app Intune Company Portal and tap Install.
      3. Select Open once completed
      4. If you are prompted to allow notifications. Choose Allow
         
      5. Choose Sign In
         
         
      6. Sign in with your Company Account and respond to any MFA prompt on your phone.
         
      7. After you have signed in choose Begin to start setting up the Work Profile
         
      8. Choose Continue on the privacy screen
      9. Choose Accept & Continue
         
         
      10. The phone will start setting up the work profile. When in completes choose Next.
          
          
      11. Choose Continue to Activate the Work Profile.
          
      12. After Work Profile has been activated. Choose Continue
          

The following steps only apply if you do not have lock screen security enabled. If you already have these settings configured and see a green tick, please continue to step 20.

1. 1. 13. Security Policies will check if the phone has Security enabled on the lock screen. If not it will ask you to configure. Choose the first Resolve
          
          
      14. Select your desired security option. For this guide we will choose PIN - Fingerprint - Face.
          
          
      15. Enter your PIN and confirm.
          
      16. If you are asked how you want notifications to show. Choose Show all notification content. Click Done.
          
      17. If you wish to configure a Fingerprint. Follow the prompts. Otherwise choose DO IT LATER.
          
      18. If you wish to setup Face Recognition. Scroll down and choose I AGREE and follow the prompts to setup. Otherwise choose NOT NOW
          
          
      19. One you have configured Lock Screen. Choose Confirm Device Settings
          
          
      20. Once confirmed you should be seeing a green tick. Choose the Back Arrow in the top left of the screen.
          
      21. Choose Done
          
          
      22. Choose GOT IT
          
          

When your work profile is setup you can now install your apps
